pricing for everything we sell. Also, However with the constant
creation of new deck concepts and the release of new cards makes it
difficult to keep up-to-date on pricing across thousands of cards.
Sometimes cards will shoot up in value overnight and we do not have
time to respond. These instances will be dealt with a case by case
basis but purchase quantities may be limited or refunded all together.
|Recently there has been a lot of
speculation activity, especially on reserve list cards, that have
resulted in buy outs and price spikes. We love Magic the Gathering and
we think this is a catalyst for destroying the game and the Vintage,
Legacy and Commander formats. We strive to provide our customers with
great prices but we do not support these practices that a few people
are doing for monetary gain at the expense of actual players. For any
orders that we feel are speculation plays, we will not hesitate to
cancel and refund your order in order to protect the integrity and
health of the game we all love.
|Due to constant market
fluctuations, returns will be considered on a case by case basis. For
all returned orders, cards must be received by us in the same condition
that we originally sent them in. The full price of the cards will be
refunded less shipping costs.
|Non-Receipt of Order
|If you chose Canada Post (Standard
Letter Mail) as your shipping option please be aware that we do NOT
guarantee the arrival of your package and no tracking is included.
About 1 in 5,000 packages are lost by the post service and many more
packages experience delays in delivery for whatever reason. However we
guarantee that all orders are packaged carefully and securely including
toploaders, sleeves, team bags, and padded envelopes. If you do not
agree to release MTG Island of any liability regarding the loss of a
shipment, please select an "Expedited" mailing option during checkout.
|Out of Stock
|Organizing millions of cards is
tough work and we do our best to make sure out inventory is 100%
accurate. However, sometimes mistakes happen and we sell out of a card.
When this happens we will notify you through the email you provided as
soon as the discrepancy is revealed. If possible, we will replace the
cards with a better condition version or if none is available, we will
refund you the full purchase price through the payment method you
used to pay us. (i.e. we would send the refund to your PayPal
account if you paid for your order through PayPal).
|MTG Island strives to keep a wide
selection of singles in stock.We ask that players try to assist us and
limit orders of cards to a playset (4) of a card so that others in the
magic community can have access to these cards as well.
|Business to Business (B2B) Sales
|At this time, MTG Island only sells cards to individual players and will not sell to other business or consortiums.
|For all new Magic sets, pre-orders
will be taken for singles prior to the official release of the set. All
orders will be held until the official release date when product
becomes available and will be shipped as soon as possible after this
day. Sometimes we do not get the distribution of cards expected, so we
may sell too many of a card. In this case, we apologize and you will be
refunded the full purchase price for the cards.
